Products and Personalisation

Many ENGRAVIQUE products are personalised or custom-made using information, text, artwork, photographs or other details supplied by the customer.

Please check all personalisation details carefully before submitting your order, including:

  • names;

  • dates;

  • spelling;

  • wording;

  • artwork;

  • logos;

  • photographs;

  • quantities;

  • product options.

We may contact you if clarification is required before production.

Because engraving results may vary slightly depending on the material, surface, colour and natural characteristics of the product, minor differences in appearance may occur.

Customer-Supplied Artwork and Images

Where you provide a logo, photograph, design or other artwork, you confirm that you have the right or permission to use it for the requested purpose.

We may refuse artwork that we reasonably believe is unlawful, infringes third-party rights or is unsuitable for the product or engraving process.

Artwork may need to be resized, repositioned or adjusted to fit the engraving area.

Prices and Payment

Prices displayed on the website are shown in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated.

The applicable product price, delivery charge and any available discount will be shown before you complete your purchase.

Payment must be successfully completed before an online order is processed unless another arrangement has been agreed in writing for a business order.

Business and Bulk Orders

Prices for larger quantities, business orders and custom projects may be provided by quotation.

A quotation may specify:

  • product;

  • quantity;

  • artwork;

  • engraving requirements;

  • price;

  • production time;

  • delivery method.

An order is not confirmed until the agreed quotation and any required payment have been accepted.

Order Acceptance

After you place an online order, you may receive an automated confirmation.

We may contact you if:

  • an item is unavailable;

  • the artwork cannot be engraved as supplied;

  • important information is missing;

  • there is an obvious pricing or listing error;

  • delivery cannot be provided to the requested address.

If we cannot fulfil an order that has already been paid for, we will arrange an appropriate refund.

Personalised Products and Cancellation

Products that are made to your specifications or are clearly personalised may be exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation right that normally applies to many online purchases. Legislation.gov.uk

This may include products engraved with your name, personal message, photograph, logo or other customer-specific design.

However, this does not affect your legal rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet applicable consumer law requirements. GOV.UK

Please see our Refund Policy for further information.

Changes or Mistakes After Ordering

If you notice an error in your personalisation details after placing an order, contact us as soon as possible.

We will try to make the requested change if production has not started.

Once engraving or production has begun, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible for personalised items.

Delivery

Available delivery methods, costs and restrictions are shown on our website and/or at checkout.

Estimated delivery times are not guarantees unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Personalised products may require preparation and engraving time before dispatch.

Some products may be subject to delivery restrictions. For example, personalised lighter products may only be available for local delivery in London.

Please see our Shipping & Delivery page for current delivery information.

Delivery Address

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

If an order cannot be delivered because incorrect or incomplete information was provided, additional delivery charges may apply where a second delivery is required.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Goods

Goods supplied to consumers must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. These rights cannot simply be excluded by contract terms. GOV.UK

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or materially different from what was ordered, contact us as soon as possible with:

  • your order number;

  • details of the problem;

  • photographs where appropriate.

We will review the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Natural Materials and Product Variations

Products made from materials such as slate, wood or coated metals may show natural or manufacturing variations in:

  • texture;

  • colour;

  • grain;

  • edge shape;

  • surface finish.

These normal variations do not necessarily constitute a defect.

Website Information

We take reasonable care to keep product information, prices and photographs accurate.

However, colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on screens, lighting, photography and the characteristics of the physical product.

If we identify a material error affecting an order, we will contact you before proceeding where appropriate.

Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotions, discount codes and automatic discounts may be subject to:

  • minimum spend;

  • eligibility requirements;

  • expiry dates;

  • product exclusions.

Unless otherwise stated, promotions cannot normally be combined.

We may withdraw or amend a promotion before an order is placed.

Intellectual Property

The ENGRAVIQUE name, branding, website content, original product photographs and original designs created by us remain our intellectual property unless otherwise stated.

Customer-owned logos, photographs and artwork remain the property of their respective owners.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

In particular, these terms do not exclude statutory rights relating to faulty goods, goods not as described, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. UK guidance specifically warns against unfair terms that attempt to remove these responsibilities. GOV.UK

Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as:

  • courier disruption;

  • severe weather;

  • transport disruption;

  • customs delays;

  • major technical failures.

Where possible, we will contact affected customers and take reasonable steps to minimise disruption.

Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version that applies to your order will normally be the version available when the order was placed.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom.

Nothing in these terms affects any mandatory consumer rights available to you under applicable law.
